Using specially designed habitats (cofferdams & hyperbaric chambers), defective shell plating sections can be replaced underwater using class approved permanent dry welding. When necessary, custom fabrication of habitats can be carried out on-site.

In addition, the SUBSEA SOLUTIONS ALLIANCE has certification for propriety wet welding procedures, accepted as permanent repairs. The underwater welding services include:
